London to Paris (4 Days) Tour de France: 24-28 July 2019
Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.

Cycling from London to Paris is one of Europe's greatest cycling challenges.
With four long days in the saddle, you will cycle through picturesque countryside, small villages and medieval market towns.
Before returning home via Eurostar we will have a full day in Paris to watch the last stage of the Tour de France!

Itinerary
Day 1 - 95 miles (approx)
We head South from Crystal Palace and weave our way down quiet country lanes to Dover. Arriving late afternoon, we take the evening ferry to Calais.
Day 2 - 75 miles (approx)
Our second day in the saddle, we head East into the stunning countryside of northern France. We cruise down the French roads enjoying the rolling hills and picturesque villages.
Day 3 - 70 miles (approx)
An early start this morning, our route today takes us through Saint-Quentin and then on to our hotel in Beauvais.
Day 4 - 60 miles (approx)
The final day of cycling and the big push to Paris! After lunch near the outskirts of Paris you will spot the familiar sight of the Eiffel Tower in the distance! We rendezvous in a park just north of Paris before joining together to cycle the last few miles along the famous boulevards.
Day 5: Final Stage - Tour de France
The day is yours to soak up the Parisian way of life and to watch the finale of the Tour De France! Our Eurostar will be departing in the evening to give you as much time as possible to soak up the atmosphere!
Costs
When you register, you will be asked to pay a registration fee of £125. A further £825 in costs will be payable before the departure date.
The £825 can either be self-funded or it can come out of your sponsorship fund, in which case a minimum sponsorship fund of £1,650 applies before Gift Aid is added.
