L'Etape du Tour: July 2022
Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.
We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
L'Étape du Tour de France 2022
The L'Étape du Tour is one of the hardest one-day cycling events in the world.
Every year around 13,000 lucky riders get the chance to ride a mountain stage of the Tour de France, just a few days before the professional riders cover the same route.
Always run on one of the rest days of the Tour de France, the L'Étape du Tour is run on closed roads and has the same support cars and police outriders as the actual Tour.

The route for the 2022 L'Étape du Tour was announced in late September last year.
DIY or Package?
One of the hardest choices is to decide whether to ride the L'Étape du Tour as part of an organised group or whether to make your own arrangements.
A 'package' may cost a bit more but it can make life a lot easier. However, if you plan well in advance and are part of a group of riders, you can save a lot of money by making your own plans.
Bike 4 Cancer can provide just your event place or you can join one of our organised groups.

Bike 4 Cancer has places to give away! We have also created our own package including accommodation, race day transfers, dedicated feed stations, mechanical support and secure bike storage. You can also subsidise the cost through your sponsorship fund.
The Costs
We ask for a registratin fee of £99 to secure your place. Our packages start at just £450 and include race entry, three nights accommodation and fully logistical support. Contact us for more information!
