Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.
We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
Dudley takes on his End to End Cycle Challenge to raise funds for Bike 4 Cancer!
On the 12 August 2019 Dudley Samuels will start his challenge in John O'Groats and then head to Land's End.
Commenting on his challenge, Dudley said:
"The End to End, which way and why, are the key questions I am often asked. Why is because it’s an iconic distance for a cyclist and I have always had it in my mind to do, which way, from John O’Groats to Land’s End as it’s harder that way due to the prevailing wind so they say. In addition I fancy getting the Scottish Highlands done and dusted whist I have more energy, that’s my theory.
The journey is not just for personal satisfaction. as I am also raising money for Bike 4 Cancer If you donate £5 you will go into a draw for a FULLY INCLUSIVE 4 day trip to the Maratona (2020) plus 5% of the cost if a friend joins you, thanks to European Cycle Events"
