Every year Bike 4 Cancer is able to fund a number of holidays for British families affected by cancer. Our holidays enable families to break away from the realities of living with cancer, giving people an opportunity to spend some quality time with their loved ones.

Of course, as a cycling charity, a number of our holidays provide families with the opportunity to try cycling. From active holidays in Greece and Turkey to cruises around the Norwegian Fjords, Bike 4 Cancer helps fund a number of summer respite holidays every year.

Although our holidays are mainly summer focused, the reality of a cancer diagnosis means that a lot of the families we help can't wait until the summer. Treatment schedules or worsening health often means that we need to react very quickly. Consequently, we also offer a number of winter respite holidays from stays at UK holiday parks to alpine relaxation trips in Scotland and abroad.

Due to funding constraints however, we are strictly limited on the number of these days/holidays we can provide every year. Although our respite programmes are heavily subsidised, our beneficiaries should be prepared to pay something towards the cost.
