Spring Onion Sportive: 12 March 2017
Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
The Spring Onion Sportive 2017
This well known season opener makes a welcome return for 2017. Start your season with a challenging 65 miler (110Km) and help families living with cancer at the same time!
As the event's official charity, we have places to give away to riders who are interested in collecting sponsorship for us!
In past three seasons this event has sold out with 750 riders so express your interest early to secure a place.

The Route
This event passes through the North Downs, Leith Hill, Forrest Green, Wallis Wood, Bedham Hill, Wisborough Green, Kirdford, Hascombe, Albury and finally Coombe Bottom before returning to Cobham (Surrey).
What's Included?
There will be a pasta meal and the mid-point feed will be at The Cricketers Arms Pub in Wisborough Green.
There will be also be rolling mechanic, road painting for a clearly marked route and many re-assuring arrows! Race entry includes chip timing and ambulance cover.
