Paris-Roubaix Sportive: 8-10 April 2017
Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.
We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
Paris Roubaix Sportive 2017
For many cyclists, a mountain stage of a major Tour is the ultimate one day test. The Paris-Roubaix Sportive though makes a mountain stage seem easy!
Along the cobble strewn route you'll experience the entire spectrum of emotions from deep despair to total elation!
The only question you have got to ask yourself is; 'Am I tough enough?' Perhaps it's time to find out...
Dates
We will be having a three day trip from 8/4/2016 (outbound) - 10/3/2016 (return). We always have 60 places booked for this event by default and these go quickly.
The Routes
This event covers three distances 70Km, 139Km and 163Km. All three routes finish in Roubaix.
What's Included
- Overland bike transport from the UK
- Pick up from Lille Eurostar on Friday
- Three nights accommodation
- Race entry with race pack collection
- Watch the pro riders arrive in Roubaix on Sunday
- Transfer to Lille Eurostar on Monday
The Costs
A non-refundable deposit of £120 is required. You can either pay the balance of £420 yourself or go along the sponsorship route where the trip costs come out of your sponsorship fund.
Raise a minimum sponsorship fund of £850 (before any Gift Aid is added) and no other costs will apply - i.e. you just pay the deposit. 100% of the sponsorship fund will need to be raised before departure. NB: Eurostar costs not included. Prices based on 2 people sharing. Single room supplement is £90.
