Team Pennine win Sail 4 Cancer Trophy at WLYC 24 Hour Race
In addition to sailing two-handed for the duration of the gruelling event, Team Pennine were awarded the Sail 4 Cancer Trophy at the West Lancashire Yacht Club 24 Hour Race having raised over £2500 for the charity.

On August Bank Holiday Monday, Salford Watersports Centre held 'The Quays Festival' to celebrate the life of a much missed friend and colleague, Phil Hobbs, who sadly lost his battle with cancer in September 2009 aged just 25.
