Sail 4 Cancer receive a Grant that makes a World Of DifferenceSail 4 Cancer have been awarded a grant from the World of Difference Scheme run by Vodafone which will pay for an additional member of staff for two months. Danielle Auld who has been volunteering at Sail 4 Cancer since last summer, applied for the sponsorship from The Vodafone Foundation after seeing an article about the scheme in the local newspaper. Danielle who was chosen as one of the winners from over 1000 applicants will be working with the charity for the next two months. Whilst at Sail 4 Cancer Danielle will be responsible for introducing a new Customer Relationship Management system to increase the charity's ability to target campaigns and track its partners more effectively. Sail 4 Cancer felt that this would be a good use of the time which can be invested as it is a project that will continue to bring benefit long after the placement is over.
