Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
Cycling from London to Paris is one of Europe's greatest cycling challenges.
With three long days in the saddle, you will cycle through picturesque countryside, small villages and medieval market towns.
With the finish line under the Eiffel Tower, you'll have a spare day to explore Paris before returning home.
Day 1: London to Dover (75 miles)
Starting in Crystal Palace, we cycle through the Kent countryside to Dover (avoiding the main roads) where we catch the ferry to Calais.
Day 2: Calais to Amiens (85 miles)
Cycling along quiet roads, we pass through small villages and the site of the Battle of Agincourt.
Day 3: Amiens to Paris (80 miles)
We continue South towards the outskirts of Paris, before riding the last few miles as one large group.
Day 4: Paris to London (By train)
Spend the day exploring Paris before catching the Eurostar back to London.
When you register, you will be asked to pay a registration fee of £125. A further £800 in costs will be payable before the departure date.
The £800 can either be self-funded or it can come out of your sponsorship fund, in which case a minimum sponsorship fund of £1,600 applies before Gift Aid is added.
Because rider numbers are strictly limited, places sell out very quickly. Reserve your place by clicking on the link below. You must be over 18 to take part.
