Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.
We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
Andrea takes on London to Paris bike ride to raise funds for Bike 4 Cancer!
On the 31 August Andrea will leave London, then pass through stunning English countryside in the hilly North Downs before tackling the hills of the South Downs. Upon reaching Portsmouth Andrea will then get ready to eat and then board the overnight sleeper ferry to Caen.
Day Two, Friday 1 September will see Andrea cycle from Caen to Evreux, which is approximately 85 miles worth of cycling
Day Three, Saturday 2 September will be the final leg, where Andrea will be cycling rom Evreux to Paris which is approximately 75 miles cycling. Once the team hit Paris they will cycle up the Champs-Elysee, around the Arc de Triomphe towards the grand finish line at the Eiffel Tower.
