Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.
We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
Jamie and Warren are taking part in two epic cycling challenges raising funds for Bike 4 Cancer!
On Friday 9 June 2017, Jamie and Warren will be cycling from London to Paris hopefully arriving in Paris just 24 hours later. This is a monumental challenge and not for the faint hearted!
Once on French soil Jamie and Warren will cycle the famous Avenue Verte cycle route arriving on the outskirts of Paris after lunch. They will then follow the River Seine's southern esplanade as it turns towards the city before peeling off towards central Paris and the lofty Eiffel Tower, where their finish awaits.
On Sunday the 30th July 2017, they will be joining 20,000 cyclists for the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 bike ride.
For both of these epic events, Jamie Leviton and Warren Margolis will be cycling in aid of Bike 4 Cancer!
Commenting on their challenge, Jamie and Warren said:
“We’re hugely excited to be taking on both of these challenges and pleased to be raising money for Bike 4 Cancer. Bike 4 Cancer support families and loved ones who’ve been affected by cancer and help them through this awful time. Cancer seems to touch the lives of so many people and it is in memory of those who have lost the battle against cancer and in honour of all those who have won their battle that we are doing this. So please, anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated.
