Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.
We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
We then skirt along the edge of the Lake District into Scotland, via lochs and mountains to the North coast and John O'Groats.
We will cover almost 1,000 miles in 12 days, passing through some of the most stunning and remote countryside in the British Isles.
The ride starts on Tuesday 17 May. You will arrive in John O'Groats twelve days later.
