Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.
We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
Starting in Crystal Palace in London, Craig and James will cycle to Dover on the first day (75 miles) before catching the ferry to Calais.
Once on French soil, day two will see the team cycle to Abbeville (76 miles).
Day three will see Craig and James undertaking the final push of the ride and cycling the final 60 miles to Paris. They will join all the other riders to cycle the last miles along some of the famous boulevards, whilst pedalling amongst the buzz of the Tour de France as the atmosphere builds up for the Grand Finale the following day.
"Please please donate kindly, this ride is our way of helping contribute to an amazing charity which helps family and friends affected by cancer, come to terms with the damages of this horrific disease."
