Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.
We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
Starting on Clapham Common, the route travels through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath before finishing in front of Brighton Pier.
Theo will have to tackle the fearsome Ditchling Beacon at the end of the 54 mile route - the highest point in East Sussex at 814 feet above sea level!

Hi Friends and Family,
On Sunday 17th September 2017 I'll be participating in Bike 4 Cancer- a 54 mile bike ride from London to Brighton.
I'll be riding in memory of my Nan who passed away from cancer some years ago, as well as my Dad who is currently battling prostate cancer. The 17th September is also special to me as my Nan would have been celebrating her 81st birthday.
I need to raise a minimum of £150, the money will be going to a more than worthy cause, so I'd be grateful for any donation you're able to make to support me.
