Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
Dave rides 2,000 Miles!
In June 2015, David Steedman will be cycling from his home in Aylesbury to Land's End in Cornwall.
Dave will then cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats (LEJOG) in Scotland before turning around and cycling back to Aylesbury!
In total, Dave intends to ride 2,200 miles to raise funds for Bike 4 Cancer - unsupported and carrying all his kit with him on his bike!

Why am I doing this? I am fast approaching 50 and wanted to do something memorable to mark such a significant time in my life.
I also wanted to raise some funds for a cancer related charity in memory of both my mother and a good friend's grand daughter who died recently of cancer.
I ran in the London Marathon during my 40th year and having wanted to cycle the classic Land's end to John O'Groats route for a long time, my mind was set.
I would be very grateful if you could help me raise funds for this excellent charity. Thank you very much indeed.
