Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.
We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
This brand new event will take place on Sunday 14th April 2019 just a few hours before the BM10k and Brighton Marathon. THe BM Ride will offer cyclists of all abilities the exclusive opportunity to enjoy the wonderful sights of Brighton city centre, including the seafront and also some challenging hills, all on closed roads and covering a 50km distance.
This new event is perfect for keen cyclists who like to take part in group rides, a family wanting to ride together or someone looking for a new challenge. This event has something for everyone and we hope you will get on your Bike 4 Cancer and take part.
This event covers 50km in length and will take in all of the Brighton Marathon course. This includes the City centre and the seafront. The route will also include a challenging hilly section via Ovingdean and Woodingdean, where you will then be rewarded with a very fast and exciting descent down Wilson Avenue.
