BIKE vs BOAT 2017

It's back and it's bigger than ever! This year two teams of sailors will compete against a group of cyclists. Who will win this unusual race from London to Brighton?

Leaving Tower Bridge (London) on Saturday 15 July 2017, a group of cyclists and sailors on two boats, will set off for Brighton in this unusual charity race.

BIKE vs BOAT is the ultimate London to Brighton race! Who will get to Brighton Marina first? The boats are fast, but rely on the mercies of wind, weather and currents.

Cyclists come and join us in this year’s Bike vs Boat event and get on your bike 4 cancer!

Cyclists can choose to ride the whole distance (201.4 miles) as a solo rider, or can sign up as a team and ride together as a tag team. Another option is to join the Bike 4 Cancer team where you will have a chaperone cycling alongside you at all times.

The cycling part of the event is being managed by Andy Cook Cycling and support will be available throughout the event (including mechanical backup and refreshments).
The event is open to solo riders and teams of two or four who can ride together or a tag team.

Registration fee per person (solo riders or if taking part in own team): £75

Registration fee to join the Bike 4 Cancer team with chaperone: £150

Minimum sponsorship amount: £400 (before gift aid is applied)
