Set up by a team of cycling enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Bike 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.
We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. cycling) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
Nick takes on the Ark to Arc challenge to raise funds for Bike 4 Cancer and the Ark Cancer Centre Charity!
On the 12 July 2017 Nick will set off on his epic Ark to Arc challenge leaving from the Ark Cancer Centre in Basingstoke and cycling to Porstmouth before getting the overnight ferry to Caen in aid of Bike 4 Cancer and the Ark Cancer Centre Charity.
Nick will then spend a further 3 days in the saddle cycling from Caen to Alencon and then onto Evreux finally finishing in Paris!

Commenting on his challenge, Nick said:
"Last summer I was inspired by the Ark Riders’ incredible John O’Groats to Land’s End cycle in aid of The Ark Cancer Centre.
I thought this was an awesome achievement for a great cause and so when I found out about this years Basingstoke to Paris ride, I knew I had to be part of it!
Cancer truly affects everybody in some way, so I will be really pleased if I can raise some money for these fantastic causes.
All donations will be raised for the Ark Cancer Centre and Bike 4 Cancer whose fundraising helps people with living with Cancer and their families.
